In an all-out battle instigated by Loki in New York City, the Avengers along with many heroes and villains on Earth have been trapped inside disks — a new disk technology originally developed as device for capturing and securing villains around the world. Spider-Man tries to retrieve the disks from Loki, but he fails and the disks are scattered around the globe.
Meanwhile, two teenage brothers, Akira and Hikaru, and their three friends come together in search for the scattered disks and the brother’s missing father, Dr. Akatsuki, the scientist responsible for the development of the disk technology under the auspices of Stark International. While searching for answers about the disks and their father, the kids accidentally run across their father’s secretly hidden access codes, and without knowing it, these factor-specific beta version of the “bio-codes” are installed into the kids’ DNA — resulting in the kids becoming able to materialize the trapped heroes from the disks. The five teens’ new mission, with the help of Spider-Man and The Avengers, is to collect and secure the disks from around the world to prevent impending disaster. Not to be outdone, Loki uses his five minions, Celebrity Five with full version of the bio-codes installed, and captured villains in his command to gather the disks to further his evil plans to acquire powers of all the super heroes — though he actually has even more grave plans in store for the world.
The race is on for the Avengers (Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk and Wasp), using their skills and special battle techniques, teaming up with a group of teens for the first time, to collect the disks to secure world peace.
When battling rogue black holes, vengeful aliens, criminal masterminds, and rifts in the evil dimension, the universe turns to its bravest and brightest to save the day. When those guys are busy, the universe is stuck with the Rocket Monkeys. Inexplicably charged with carrying out all kinds of important missions, brothers Gus and Wally cause more intergalactic calamity than they could ever prevent. Luckily, they have plenty of help from YAY-OK, their dashing and devoted (if slightly outdated) robot.
These monkeys may not have the brainpower of the Rocket Chickens or the guts of the Cosmosloths, but they do have a hunger for adventure. And by “adventure” we mostly mean “bananas”.
Kirby Buckets, a 13-year-old boy who dreams of becoming a famous animator, sees his drawings take shape as he and his two best friends navigate high school and go on outrageous adventures all while driving his older sister crazy.
Being the best is only the beginning.
